HILLSBORO — Jane Frazier, 84, Hillsboro, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 31, 1916 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Albert and Grace Lawton Taylor She married Harold L. Frazier Jan. 9, 1935. He preceded in death in 1992. She was a graduate of Alamo High School in 1934, she had also attended Yountsville school. She was a homemaker. She had also worked with her husband in their farm supply store and later when they had a cabinet shop in Hillsboro. She attended Prairie Chapel Church. She was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church. She was very active member of the Covington Senior Citizens Center and had been a volunteer pianist at Covington Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include: a daughter Carolyn (Gene) Stockdale, Veedersburg; a grandson, Paul Wesley Stockdale, Veedersburg; a granddaughter, Cara Ellen Kiesewetter, Maquon, Ill.; and four great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Sally Lee Frazier Kinser in 1991. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., Waynetown. Burial was in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery, Waynetown. Memorial contributions may be made to the Covington Senior Citizens Center, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. – jlr
